I'm excited for anything you come up with, and very easy to please :D You don't have to follow any of the prompts (they're just things that came to me in a ten-minute brainstorming session, not ideas I'm married to)! Feel free to mix and match any of the likes, or borrow a prompt for one fandom/pairing for another, or dust off that fic at the bottom of your drawer! The most general idea of my likes is basically anything that includes sensory details and character flaws. The entire gift could be a description of a character perceiving a waterfall and I'd be in love!



DNWs:

• pregnancy being a major focus (and subsequently miscarriage or reproductive rights being a major focus)
• dub-con or non-con with female victims (mentions are fine if it has happened in canon, but no new incidents or recovery plot please) (dubcon fine if f/f)
• first person POV in narration
• explicit underage (under 18) sex (fine if aged up for the purpose of the fic)
• permanent character death of requested characters (character death for timeloops, or to be turned into a vampire or whatever is all OK)

- genderswap (whether of the 'always a different sex' variety or of the 'touched/drank something and now whoopsie is all changed' variety or whatever else) (especially if M/M to F/F!)
- A/B/O (especially if A/A or A/B or B/B etc... anything not A/O! especially if there's worldbuilding!)
- asexuality headcanons (although I'd prefer for the word 'asexual' to not be mentioned in-fic unless it's a canon taking place in the 21st century anglophone world with clearly Online or involved in the ~lgbt+ community characters)







Avatar: The Last Airbender

Azula/Ty Lee
I love their relationship so so much. Ty Lee trying so hard to move away from being just one more identical person to becoming something more 'special' and Azula providing that. Loving someone a lot but having to stop them!

• Any missing scene during canon would be lovely!
• Post-canon, does Ty Lee go to visit her? How does that go?
• Does Azula ever hallucinate Ty Lee?
• AU where Azula ran away and joined the circus with Ty Lee instead? Or becoming Kyoshi warriors? (Would Azula have to hide who she is and her bending?)
• Or them just being mean and evil together!

Azula/Katara
The contrasts - fire VS. water obviously, but also approaching people VS. using them - but both extremely powerful benders!

• Azula is exiled instead of Zuko; does she have a similar journey to him, is she adopted by the southern water tribe, does anything else happen - a scene from that?
• Katara's thoughts on Azula in general
• Modern with bending AU; Valentine's related

Jet/Zuko
ALL the identity-related tropes! What we saw of them was just really great!

• The travelling going on for longer? What if Jet had never "seen" Iroh firebend?

• I'd prefer if Jet didn't die, but do consider the permanent death of requested characters DNW waived for this ship

Jet/Sokka/Zuko
No thoughts head empty, unfortunately. I just like the idea! Lots of room for antagonism between all of them! I would love absolutely everything, whether it ends happily or not or with the OT3 becoming OTP in any one way. Sokka dislikes them both, Jet and Zuko start off nicely but obviously that does not continue, it's just fun!

Suki/Ty Lee

• Kyoshi-related moments! Admiring each other's skill?
• Does Ty Lee stay with them, considering her desire to stand out? If yes, does Suki factor into that? If no, how does that go?

Bleach
General like for this fandom is any role-related canon AU or divergence (canon shinigami is a quincy, the reverse, canon quincy is a hollow, etc.)

If any of the Bleach Brave Souls designs inspire anything for you (AU or not), please feel free! (I don't play the game, I have no idea what goes on in there, but every new design that comes out is very pretty hahah)

Dokugamine Riruka/Inoue Orihime
Given how little we saw of them interacting my love might be disproportionate but I adore this ship! I love how Riruka is prepared to dislike Orihime -- and then very much doesn't! But in true trope fashion she also can't just admit she likes her. I'd love anything that forces them to spend some more time together!

• Any get together trope
• How does Riruka's love for cute things extend to Orihime? Introspective admiration, makeovers/playing dressup (my kingdom for Orihime to wear something that's not a long skirt) (I like them! I just also like variety), anything else
• Orihime rarely shows her backbone (which she very much does have! I can't see her as a pacifist), but Fullbring arc has quite a few of those moments where her determination is in text rather than in the background - would love to see how that extends when they meet inside the garganta later. What if Riruka did go with them? What if Orihime stayed back?
• Orihime is meant to be a Fullbringer too -- training together?

Dokugamine Riruka/Kuchiki Rukia
We get a fight scene that's not even a real fight scene and that was enough for me to ship them <3

• They both understand being on the outside looking in -- confessional moments of backstories?
• Rukia discovers her in Soul Society during Thousand Year Blood War arc
• The same as above but post-canon, where Riruka is maybe just visiting to see Ginjou?
• I'm not sure how fake dating can work with them in canon, but I know I'd love it

Grimmjow Jaegerjaques/Kurosaki Ichigo
The mutual killing intent! (I feel like fandom largely ignores Ichigo's very canonical 'you want to kill me because of how I look at you? I know how you feel', but personally I love it!) The fact that said killing intent is possessive ('that's the price you pay for going after another man's prey'?!)! The fact that despite all this they saw things in each other that not even their closest people did!

• Any moment from that lifelong 'I'll fight you whenever you want' promise (I simply think Grimmjow deserves to see the horn of salvation chapter form!)
• I simply find it hilarious that despite [vague handwave at canon], virgin4virgin (or insert the general shorthand of 'first time in a relationship' person 4 'first time in a relationship' person) is a very realistic reading of them. Any awkward moment?
• Anything post-canon. What is Hueco Mundo like now?
• Hollows are all cannibals by nature and they're both hollows - I think we deserved some cannibalism romance!

Hollow Ichigo | Zangetsu/Kurosaki Ichigo
My biggest fannish W in history was, after so long seeing people talking about how he needs to defeat the hollow and see reason triumph over killer instinct etc etc and me fundamentally disagreeing, seeing said hollow turn out to be the literal manifestation of Ichigo's soul <3 Like LOL of course the manifestation isn't a wise middle-aged man! Of course it's the loyal-but-insane figure that talks about mangling sinew instead! <3

• He spent SOOO LONGGGG with nobody knowing he's the actual sword spirit. He taught Ichigo without Ichigo even realising it! He protected! I love the contrast between that VS how bloodthirsty he acts, would love anything from his POV
• What was it like in the inner world during those 17 months of de-powerment? Or any inner world moment
• The anime filler zanpakutou rebellion arc, except this time with the proper sword spirit?
• Have they ever talked about that fully hollow form from the fight with Ulquiorra and the subsequent 'what you want to protect is not what I want to protect' ~> 'what I want to protect is you, Ichigo'?
• Any AU where they are actually two different people (twins? mythological manifestations of the sun and the moon? who knows)

Inoue Orihime/Kuchiki Rukia
Ohhhhhhhhh, them <333 That scene were Ukitake was looking at them training and was like 'Rukia is so closed off but she made a friend' gets me emotional every time :') Orihime banging on the wall trying to get out when Rukia's spiritual pressure disappears! (and this might be just me having femslash goggles on tight, but I can't help but compare that moment to when Ulquiorra and Ichigo started fighting and Orihime took long enough to even try to protect him that Ulquiorra commented on it - like, the contrast! the difference in her reaction!)

• More from the time when Orihime went to Soul Society to train with Rukia! Both training and non-training things!
• Post-canon: does Orihime settle on which of the 5 careers she wants? How is her new life?
• I feel like Orihime's rejection powers would make her one of the few (if any?) people able to withstand Rukia's bankai
• More outsider POV on their relationship! 5+1 outsider POVs?

Ishida Uryuu/Kurosaki Ichigo
Here's my 7k essay on how the narrative only ever treats Uryuu as the proper moral heroic figure,
More seriously I am extremely obsessed with the contrast of 'prince of light' VS. 'my son, born in the dark', Uryuu's "we're here to save Inoue-san not fight the Espada" during Hueco Mundo Arc VS. Ichigo's "you were right, I came here to fight you" directed at an Espada, the end of the volume poem “we are drawn to each other like drops of water, like the planets / we repulse each other like magnets, like the color of our skin.”! Being the successor of the almighty VS. being the one to cut him down! Sometimes using religious things as aesthetic is fine actually, because their christ vs. antichrist positioning is sexy (to be clear this is mostly a joke, I do think religion needs respect!)

• Quincy training?
• Have they ever dealt with the fact that, uh, Ichigo put a whole sword through Uryuu's middle
• Uryuu had said that he hates the kind of job that would need you to cut up your own wife's dead body for a week straight - so what did make him become a doctor after all?

Kotetsu Isane/Unohana Retsu
Why yes I do tear up when I think of the fact that the only person Unohana left a letter for when she knew she was going to die was Isane! I'm also fairly sure that Isane is the only person to see her with her hair down/her scar showing in canon. She knows all there is to know about Unohana and she knows how she used to be (using more official things as a pretext to fight and kill souls in Rukongai?!) and respects and loves her so much still!

• The moment Isane made vice-captain!
• Anything exploring their vastly different motivations for learning healing
• We know Unohana is in hell after her death - do they meet again, somehow?

Ulquiorra Cifer/Kurosaki Ichigo
I am so obsessed with the Lust Arc it's kind of embarrassing, actually. The small parts of foreshadowing before that full-hollow form in e.g. Ichigo choosing to fight when he finally had Orihime where he could save her. The process of Ichigo becoming more and more monstrous as Ulquiorra becomes more and more human! Ulquiorra being the reason Ichigo didn't, you know, literally kill his friends. Ulquiorra's obsession with only things he can physically see existing, yet his desperation in making everyone else feel as empty as he does. The fact that their hollow holes are in the exact same spot!

• Since the hollow is Ichigo's soul and part of his shinigami powers, in theory Ulquiorra died via soul reaper sword, right? So in theory he should have ended up somewhere in Soul Society since he got cleansed. So in theory they could meet again
• Ulquiorra wants to understand the heart - what better holiday than Valentine's?
• Any relationship study
• Anything else!

Beth Cassidy/Addy Hanlon

This canon and the book are my loves :D !!! I'm requesting the TV show but I have read the book, so either being the base is fine by me!

I love how deep their relationship goes and I love how they just keep running from their feelings. I love how Beth behaves the way you'd expect the best person in the team to behave, but how Addy is just as much of that "stereotype" and revered by the school population even when she doesn't realise it. I would want absolutely anything with them!

• Their average day spent together pre-that kiss? Or pre-Colette.
• Something where their lack of communication somehow lands them in a happy spot anyway
• Going their different ways for college and then reconnecting?
• Going by show canon - do they dig deeper into the mystery? Does that bring them closer together or farther apart?

I'll be honest I haven't rewatched this since my first watch many years ago /o\ but I remember enjoying their dynamic! Getting into basketball for someone you admire, copying them, sometimes said copying not being enough! Kise can be both light and very mean, and Aomine is... Aomine.

I love their relationship. I love how the one person that they truly let themselves be THEMSELVES with is each other. I love the feelings of frustration arising from the semi-estrangement happening in the dreamer trilogy, and deeply deeply love the incredible range that they have in TRC - framing people for horrible deeds AND first kisses in childhood bedrooms! Love how they remain delicious (& not saccharine) and even as they're deeply in love they're never saccharine soft <3 Love how insular the relationship feels - nobody knows much about them as an item and neither is the type to volunteer information and it's just all so <3 <3 <3 to me
